Beechcraft Party

Last weekend we had the pleasure of once again attending the Beech party. This a wonderful event held in Tullahoma Tennessee at the Beechcraft Heritage Museum http://www.beechcraftheritagemuseum.org/  ALL types of Beech Aircraft are present from Staggerwings to King Airs. Not only are the facilities first class the hospitality couldn’t be better. Weather was perfect and the autumn foliage throughout the Tennessee Valley was in peak form. I had the distinct pleasure of going for a flight in the Parish family Stearman N44JP to gain a birds eye view of the colors.

Equal to the accommodations at the event are the activities; browsing about at the museum, making new friends during one of the excellent meals served, hangar flying, sitting on the porch watching airplanes, going for a ride, and seminars. Where else could one see a King Air pass by with a Twin Beech tucked up close on each side or a Duke and Staggerwing pass by in formation? Wonderful people, great airplanes and welcoming atmosphere made for a great weekend. Beech owner or not I suggest you get this event on your calendar for next year. Its become must go for us. Hope to see you there next year!
