Wet Paint

We have had an incredible amount of covering underway over the past couple of months. There is now a constant level of activity in and around the paint booth. F-7’s and a Stinson are in the mix with a Taperwing not far behind.

It’s pretty amazing to see things progress once the guys get into a rhythm. Yesterday, one by one, four UPF-7 wings made their way into the booth and then back out cloaked in vibrant yellow. Today, among the painted wings are yellow ailerons, center section and the tail feathers. Looming in the mix here is the mighty Stinson SR-9F which is also ready for color. More to come!
