RARE Aircraft President/CEO Roy Redman developed a passion for antique airplanes as a boy, starting with model airplanes, winning national awards for his work. During a successful career as an airline captain, he continued to follow his passion, restoring antique airplanes. Redman and his restorations have gained a reputation nationally for their craftsmanship, precision and technical perfection. Jeremy RedmanRARE Aircraft Restoration Director Jeremy Redman has had a lifelong exposure to building, restoring and operating antique aircraft. Having a formal background in art, while also being a licensed pilot and mechanic, the well-known visual and technical perfection of a RARE Aircraft restoration is continued through this next generation.

Ben RedmanRARE Aircraft General Manager Ben Redman took his first airplane ride when he was just one week old, first soloed in a glider at age 14, soloed in a powered plane at age 16, is currently checked out in 65 different aircraft, and holds a commercial pilot certificate and instrument rating. Ben began working on planes at the age of 8, and completed his first major engine overhaul at age 15. Today he holds his A&P and Inspection Authorization license. Ben specializes in power plants, radial engines, and aircraft fabrication.
