RARE’s Airventure 2016

It was quite the year at Airventure, aka Oshkosh for RARE Aircraft ltd. Personally, I’d say its been the busiest year I have witnessed in 20 years. Attendance seemed to be sky high as did the attitudes of attendees. By Monday mid morning I was told by the tower chief that north and south aircraft camping/parking were full as well as experimental camping/parking. From a sales activity perspective we usually anticipate grumbles and slowed activity when the show falls within an election cycle. Not the case for 2016. We quit trying to put logic to it while trying our best to focus on being three places at once all week  and keeping after/flying six airplanes.  The seventh aircraft N44JP was graciously brought to the show by the Parish family. Much gratitude to all of the owners for sharing their aircraft at the show and to our team for their tireless commitment and dedication.
